Shining Light Missions and Outreach (“SLKB Missions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is the missionary and humanitarian arm of Shining Light Kingdom Builders Church, established in 2014 in Abuja, Nigeria. We are dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission through frontier missionary member care, trauma debriefing, medical outreach, kids education, and rural community transformation.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you visit our website, apply as a volunteer, communicate with our secretariat, or support our frontier initiatives. Due to the volatile security environment in certain northern frontier mission fields and restricted-access communities where our partner missionaries operate, protecting human life and preventing persecution is an absolute priority:
- Pseudonyms & Media Sanitization: Names, identifying photos, and precise GPS village coordinates of vulnerable converts, indigenous church planters, and safe-house locations are safeguarded or altered for public dissemination.
- Volunteer Confidentiality: Volunteers, doctors, and outreach participants agree not to publish unvetted photos, tag specific locations, or reveal missionary identities on public social media without prior clearance from our Field Operations Directorate.
- Secure Communication: Sensitive missionary emergency requests and relocation updates are transmitted through encrypted channels and are never stored on public-facing web servers.
2Information We Collect
We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when expressing an interest in our work or serving with our outreach units:
Direct Contact & Inquiries
Name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, church fellowship, and personal inquiries or prayer requests submitted through our contact channels.
Volunteer Applications
Medical license credentials (for doctors, dentists, nurses, pharmacists), educational background, availability preferences, and emergency contact details.
Giving & Donor Notifications
Transfer receipts, donor names, and transaction references shared with us via WhatsApp or email for gift acknowledgment and financial accountability.
Technical & Anonymous Analytics
Aggregated page views, device types, browser version, and cookie preference flags to maintain site stability and improve accessibility.
3Financial & Payment Security
We do not process or store credit/debit card numbers or bank authentication credentials on this website.
All financial donations are conducted via direct bank transfers into dedicated institutional Zenith Bank accounts (Shining Light Missionary Support, Shining Light Medical Outreach, and Shining Light Kids Outreach) or official verified Diaspora channels (PayPal / Zelle: shininglightgm@gmail.com). Bank security is handled entirely by Zenith Bank Plc under Central Bank of Nigeria regulations.
